You have got to be kidding me. I mean, I knew full well before heading out that it was going to be a crazy day. The sales were listed in flyers in the paper on Christmas day, but still...
it was mass confusion. There were no parking spaces, people were in EVERY corner of the mall, lines were long for not only to check out, but also to even try the clothes on!
That said, it was fun! I found most of what I was looking for, got a few sales, and then again, not too many in my favor :( but being that I "needed" the pants and shoes (sh!!, don't tell), I just had to get them :)
When I came outside for the hike to my car parked in another city basically, it was pouring down rain!! AGH, WHERE IS THE SNOW???
OK, no more complaining...how bad could it be when I found what I was looking for AND I got to eat a delicious, hot, cinnamon sugar Auntie Anne's Pretzel with a fresh squeezed lemonade?
Then we went for our normal Dec. 26th Thai dinner with my husbands family. D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S.!
and tomorrow we are off, just my husband and I to the Maldives! I will have my computer, but not sure I will be posting for a little while. I may have some fish to see, some beach to lounge on, some yummy food to eat, some private time just for my husband and I. I am so excited, but yet, so distressed about leaving my kids. We do this almost every year, but it never gets any easier to leave them. I am always so worried about them, but alas, we are on our way tomorrow! It is so exciting to be traveling so far away!

Oh wow! I am so jealous about Maldives. I've always wanted to go there. Sea is beautiful and the snorkeling is perfect. Please take some photos for me:)
Have a wonderful time with your hubby. The kiddos will be fine.
Have a wonderful time at the Maldives. My friend is dying to go there.
Remember to enjoy yourselves and your kids will be fine. As long as you bring them back a present of course. LOL!
i dont even know where maldives is! I am going to google now! haha
That pretzel looks SO good! :)
I see you spent some time in Venezuela. I LOVE Venezuela, grew up there...it's still my home. ;-)
This year, I refused to even THINK about the stores the week after Christmas. I think January 3 was the first time I was in a store after Christmas -- and that was bad enough!! You're a braver woman than I!
