Is it an internal clock?

Life sometimes has such a routine that I believe our bodies respond whether we want them to or not. It seems that in the early morning hours, between 4 and 4:30 am, Bella wakes up to go outside for her business. My body has been programmed now to wake up with her.
I eventually fall back to sleep.

Here is where my fascination then lies....she knows when it is time to wake up...
somewhere between 6:45 and 7 am.
Now, it is not that she has to go outside again...she doesn't. She just comes over, before the alarm sounds and wakes me up with her cold nose and wet kisses!

If you are wondering how the unpacking is going...
well, it is just about finished. I will post after unpacking pictures soon...once I find 10 minutes to take the photos and actually download them. I have been working really hard to get all the boxes unpacked and the "stuff" put all in its proper place. I have been hoovering like crazy...picking up all the lint and dust that comes with all the boxes. My townhouse neighbor gave me her sweeper! I am so excited to have an upright that works again...especially since the stairs and top floor are all carpets. I have decided that I prefer a house without wall to wall carpets, but has strategically placed area rugs. Anyways, it is certainly nice to have an old fashioned Hoover sweeper to suck up all that hair, dust and dirt!

and last but certainly not least...
my niece is in labor! She will have her precious child soon...
May God watch over the both of them through labor and bring us our little one soon :)

My dog does the same thing in the morning. If I don't get up at my usual time, she sits by the side of the bed and whines! She is like my mother all over again. "Get up, Dan...time for school..."

We have all ceramic floors and it´s so much easier to take care of. Glad you got a working vacuum.
Hope all goes well with your niece!

I always know when it's eight o'clock on the dot, because a dog dig always appears in my lap at exactly eight o'clock on the dot. Congrats on the new arrival!

Our cat is the same way. We can count on him to let us know when the sun's coming up! (not that we get up to stay that early!)
