Mariana



We ended our first day to Ouro Preto traveling an hour by train to the city of Mariana.

It was a small city with a cute train station and some more pretty churches. 

Mariana was founded in 1696 and still has some mining on the outskirts of the city.


The sun and sky's colors were brilliant tonight.

i love that you are getting out and being able to travel so much. l is always traveling and so just wants to be home on the weekends and we want to be able to spend time together. i do wish i had traveled more in brasil though. in the back of my mind i always see myself back there though. i love it so.

Yes, I thought these were photos from Europe. It's great to "see" different parts of the world through others.
