I am not sure why this is, or even when in over these 16 years of diving it happened, but I have now found starfish to be so cool. They come in all different sizes and colors.... here are a sampling from The Maldives!
Great...not only the starfish, but the multicolored field beneath them! I've seen a few in tidal pools along the Calif. coast, but not such variety! Anemones are really nice too...in fact most things in the ocean are so awesome! Thanks!
I have loved starfish for a long time too...ever since I first saw them in BC/Seattle as a kid. And I enjoyed teaching about them when I taught an Ocean unit to my class. But I've never seen that many different ones! Wow.

Starfish are awesome!! And those in particular are beautiful! I've never seen them so brightly colored!!
I love Starfish as well. I remember once I was in 7th grade I had a paper to do and I did about the Starfish... I felt in love with them.

Neat! I have seen some when scalloping in the gulf of mexico, but they were all the same. I had no idea how different they could be. And so beautiful!
