My Favorite Market

Every Monday there is a street market that sells fresh fruits and veggies, flowers, fish and chicken.

It is one of the most colorful places to visit in the city...

and not just the food is colorful, but also the people!

I love going to the same lady for my veggies

then onto the little lady and man who sell me my chicken and sausage. They cut all the fat off, slice the chicken into perfect fillets, and always have a smile and Bom Dia (good morning) for me!

What a way to start the week...full of color and spice and fresh like a crisp Fall morning!

Everything looks really clean and fresh!
Here in Casa fruits and veggies are good too. I haven't found a market yet but cross the street where we're going to move is a small supermarket and outside a man sells beautiful looking fruits and veggies - and we have a bakery in the next building...
yummy! :)

I love to go to the Feira, but I don't like to fish smell.

Oooooh, how I'd love to shop there. There's something about street markets. They are scenes from daily life, but they still represent a holiday mood to me. My favorite street markets are in Provence, in France, that's why! Loved this post BG!!

Looks like such a fun place. I had my special vegetable vendors in Paraguay as well. Its more fun to shop like that.
