Feels like ages since I've written here!
I have been busy with enjoying the beautiful weather we are having in Atyrau.
The sun is warm and so bright, while the air remains just a bit cool and crisp.
It is perfect weather for swimming in the newly opened outdoor pool...
and of course, trying to capture the breath that Spring breathes into the trees and flowers.
We have the mini triathlon for our children through their school this coming weekend.
We are also on a countdown to summer break...just two more weeks!
I have been learning how to make bread
using the best Christmas present: a Kitchenaid stand mixer. It is the machine to have in the kitchen, in my opinion! Thanks to my husband who believed in me and my cooking! We are going to try to make homemade pasta once our pasta set arrives for the mixer!
(ok, my husband bought me a beautiful pair of earrings spontaneously while we were getting a watch repaired at Christmas also...I'm not sure which I truly like better :) He spoils me!)
Hopefully once we are settled again in our home in Key West, I will have more time to blog...
can't wait to get there and enjoy the new additions:
(more photos coming once I am there!)
until then, I will try to write as often as I have time for!
Hope you are all enjoying your own sunshine :)

I was wondering where you've been. We had a great time in BsAs. I will try to post a few pictures soon.
Beautiful spring flower pics!
I can almost smell the bread baking -- Mmmmm! I used to bake bread, years and years ago when my children were young. I didn't have any special equipment, I kneaded it, and that was relaxing in itself. I didn't keep it up, though. I guess I got too busy.
Wow a stand mixer and earings, that husband of your really spoils you, doesn't he?
I also love the pictures... You have captured the essence of spring!!
Surfer Dude
You are deservedly spoiled!! : )

I know what you mean. Jewelry is great, so wonderful to receive, but gadgets are handy day to day. We are having overcast weather which is okay with everyone because we know the non-stop sunshine and over 100 degree temps are coming... Wishing you a safe and happy homecoming!
I don't know which I'd like better either! That bread looks amazing! Wish I could smell it through the computer screen.
Love the fence, but my brother in law once fell out of a tree onto one like that, so when we put one in, we opted for the flat one!!
