Agua de coco

You can find this drink everywhere...
on the beach, in restaurants, at stands on the side of the road...

I am not a fan.  To me it tastes like dirty water.  But it is practically a staple here.
I love the way it looks, and the stands are always so photo worthy..
like this one in Paraty...

Have a great weekend!

I totally agree with you! I don't like aqua de coco either. I have to be Very thirsty in order to drink that. Nice photo though :)

I have a blog design offer to make you but can't find an email to email you. If you want to send me an email :)

Have a nice weekend!

Coconut water definitely divides people into two camps. I know few people who are indifferent - you either love it or hate it!

I love it... especially after I read all the amazing benefits. detoxifying, immune boosting, mother's milk replacement - heck it can probably even end the global credit crisis!

I´ve never tasted it before, because I´m not that big a fan of coconut. But it is cool, they way they drink directly out of the nut!

Unfortunatly, I cannot agree with you. I am a huge fan of it. In São Paulo is hard to find and it doesn´t taste as sweet as it tastes in Bahia or in Rio.

I always think of the movie Cast Away, when I see coconut milk. I drank it a few times in Belize, but hated when locals bottled it in used plastic coke bottles and sold it. Didn't think I wanted to drink it.
