I have an old school ...I am not a camera buff, BG. I have an old school 35m Yashica I shoot with a wide angle lens. (28mm) I have a Canon point and shoot digital. Nothing fancy. You have the eye for a shot, I have seen this over and over in your photos.....it's not the camera, it's the eye behind it. You've got the eye. Don't get into needing the next thing.
